The All-Metal Universal inlet door is great for rough service applications and floor mounting where inlets are subject to rough use. Constructed entirely of steel and painted with a white semi-gloss baked enamel the all-metal inlet can handle more abuse than plastic models. Similar in design to the CV1500 round door the all metal version also measures the nominal 3" X 5" in size and has a round door with metal spring closure and gasketed door seal. The inlet opening is also the standard 1.5" and is designed to work with all standard CVS hoses including Dual-Volt, Low-Volt and No-Volt models.

The all-metal valve is a Universal standard connect, low-volt type. Two low-volt pickups are mounted inside the hose opening which are used to signal your central vacuum power unit. The low-volt connectors come pre-wired and include a pair of wire nuts to connect to your existing central vacuum low-volt signal system. Color matched screws are also included in the package for securing the inlet to a mounting bracket. New installations will require a mounting bracket, sold separately. Fits all universal mounting brackets including Vaculine, Hayden, Plastiflex and others where the mounting screws are 3 7/8 inches apart. Also available in Almond color, item #CV15615
