Note: CT14DX, CT18DX & CT20DX power nozzles from Centec Systems are interchangeable. All three models use the same wand connection system and each model can replace the other in any system. All CT--DX models can also use the optional telescopic integrated wand.

The CT14 powerbrush is among the most popular models of powerbrush used for central cleaning systems. For years Centecs' CT-14 has been marketed under several brand and model names including Nutone CT-600, Hayden SuperPack, Vacuflo Electroglide, M&S Airvac VM454 & VM455, Vacumaid and many others. The CT14DX will directly replace all CT14 models that features quick disconnect (no attached cord) without a dirt sensor feature. This includes other brands of CT14 (most brands still have the Centec name on the bottom of the powerbrush) and other Centec models including the CT16DX, CT18DX, CT20DX and CT24DX. The CT14 Electric powered carpet cleaning nozzle for central vacuums, backpack vacuums and canister style vacuum cleaners features an efficient cog belt drive system with circuit breaker overload protection. The auger style brush roller has a solid wood core that does not bend like metal rollers and uses a powerful 2.4AMP brush motor for excellent cleaning performance. The CT14DX has a step-on quick release neck designed to connect with a corded wand. Other pedals include the handle release, which lock the handle in the upright position for storage or parking and the height-adjuster pedal that moves the powerbrush through 4 levels of height for cleaning all floor types. The CT14 has no metal protrusions on the bottom plate and can be used to vacuum hard floors, and a full wrap vinyl non-marking bumper protects baseboards and furniture while you clean.
Optional Centec Integrated Telescopic Electric Wand available for use with the CT14DX powebrush. Chrome steel wand telescopes from 22 inches up to 39 inches to accommodate all users and applications. The tool end has a button lock and power connection to work with all of the Centec CT(XX)DX model power nozzles. The hose end of the wand also features a quick release button lock connection and power connector for use with a recessed mount electric hose (see hose connection information below). The power cord of the wand is integrated in a telescopic channel on the back of the wand and no power cord is exposed which makes the wand more reliable and easier to use.
