This fitting adapts schedule 40 plumbing pipe to central vacuum pipe.
Useful for systems where pipe must be buried in direct contact with the ground, i.e - when a power unit is mounted in a detached garage and pipe can not be connected to the main home through a breezeway chase.
White PVC adapter for connection of 2 inch CVS tube (1.98 inches outside diameter) to standard 2 inch PVC D/W/V plumbing pipe (2.35" outside diameter). This adapter glues onto the CVS pipe and glues onto the plumbing pipe at the other end. It is non-removable and does not permit inspections at the reduction area.
This PVC Adapter fitting is not listed with IAPMO, is not manufactured in compliance with the ASTM-F2158 specification nor does it carry the UMC (uniform mechanical code) shield of approval.
