Most straight suction, utility style or replacement hoses are a single ply built by "blow molding" instead of extrusion. These inexpensive hoses are often ridged and inflexible, offer lower airflow performance and are more than a few steps down from the best quality hose. The industry recognized best quality hose is found in more expensive 4-wire (dual voltage) electric central vacuum hoses. With their rounded exterior ribs and double-ply extruded design the electric hose is built to last and perform. Now the same quality use in electric hoses is available in an air-only (zero-wire) cleaning hose. The deluxe Air Hose body is tough with a double ply design that gives and bends without breaking or crimping like inferior blow-molded or single ply hoses that can break or split on their seams.
The soft and flexible Aspria Deluxe Air Hose is house-friendly with a rounded rib hose-body design that will not scratch furniture or mar drywall corners. The unique double ply hose interior is not only tougher, it also works better too. The smooth and flat interior walls of the hose transmit the airflow with far less resistance of standard ribbed hoses. Better airflow gives you both more power at the cleaning attachment and the ability to use longer hoses without loss of cleaning ability. The unique double ply hose can also stretch up to 4% of it's length which makes the hose easier to work with in all lengths.
The bent control tube (hose grip) of the Deluxe Air Hose is commercial quality chromed steel with a full swivel connect and airflow regulator control. Manufactured by OMEC, a family business located in Italy started in 1959 and known for their exceptional quality metal vacuum tubes worldwide. The control tube's 360° swivel is an integrated 2 piece design that threads onto the hose body and allows for seam less transfer of airflow from the grip into the flexible hose. This two peice design prevents clogs in the control tube while the swivel prevents kinks in the hose during vacuuming. The entire hose grip measures 16 inches in length and features a bend that allows comfortable usage for cleaning floors while standing upright. A thumb operated airflow regulator is mounted to the grip. With three levels of regulation you can divert suction from the tool to lessen suction for delicate cleaning such as sheer drapes or small knickknacks you don't want sucked into your central vacuum. The end of the control tube is the standard 1.25" (32mm) friction fit for use with all standard cleaning tools and extension wands. The friction fit has a slight taper to accept most all brands and styles of 32mm tools and will interoperate with all brands of tools, even many old attachments and wands using button locks.
The wall-end of the hose uses a standard 1.5" central vacuum activator cuff with a metal band. The activator cuff is also threaded onto the hose body and is made from a durable yet flexible vinyl compound. Designed for use with all standard and direct-connect 1.5" inlets the activator cuff's metal band will start your vacuum when fully inserted into the vacuums wall inlet, and stop the vacuum when the hose is unplugged from the wall.
Ready for use with most existing and all new central vacuums the Deluxe Air Hose is an excellent replacement for broken, worn out or missing straight suction hoses. Perfect for use with hard floor brush and above floor straight suction cleaning tools such as dusting brushes, crevice nozzle and ceiling fan tools. The Deluxe Air Hose is also ready for more advanced cleaning tools including Centra-Mop and Turbocat or Zoom carpet nozzles. The straight suction air-only hose is light weight and considerably lesser expensive than electric hoses that are used with power brush systems and does not have any internal wires or switches on the grip. For straight suction cleaning the Deluxe Air Hose is available in 30ft, 35ft & 50ft lengths and also available in full straight suction attachment kits.
