Using this tool on your CV system will also allow you to clean carpets, rugs and throw rugs of any type utilizing the high suction of the vacuum that is evenly applied to the floor by the unique design of the tool. A large centered opening allows for maximum airflow through the tool directly to the surface. This suction is carried to the edges with deep "V" shaped grooves, ensuring constant airflow for any texture of soft flooring. There are also two independent liter pickers on the cleaning surface to help capture threads or lint that may be stuck in the carpet.

The great design of the tool makes it easy to use as Wessel-Werk has engineered many labor saving features into the RD294. At the heart of design for the RD294 is the large centered roller wheel. This soft texture wheel is important to both functions of the tool: making it easy to glide on hard floors - using its convex shape to track straight and keep the brush from "digging in".

And for use on carpet it transfers your forward motion directly to the floor so you do not have to fight the resistance from the bottom plate to the surface. The RD294 also has a full swivel, triple action joint making this tool the most flexible available and ensures optimum contact with the floor from any angle. Finally the top mounted toe switch is large and textured with grips that make it easy to use. The RD294 attaches directly to the included telescopic wand with a simple friction fit, ready to clean when you are.

Deluxe 30ft Low-Voltage Swivel Grip Hose
The low-volt hose of the CV1155-LV is a premium quality component with upgrade features not found on many others and a larger diameter than most others too. The hose of our CV1155-LV series gives you unsurpassed airflow and flexibility with an oversized 1 3/8" ID hose body. The larger diameter adds more room for the air to move through the hose while cleaning with less resistance providing you the best airwattage from your power unit, an estimated 20% increase in performance as compared to 1.25" hoses.

The lightweight low-voltage hose is made by the worlds leading hose manufacturer, Plastiflex, with a soft molded ElectraFlex hose body. The Plastiflex hose is very flexible and can make sharp turns without cutting off the suction. The handgrip is an ergonomic "Gas-Pump Grip" design and features a simple to use low-volt thumb switch. The handle design also features a 360° swivel to reduce strain on both user and hose.

The full swivel Gas-Pump keeps you tangle free while moving about room-to-room and the finger-tip switch gives you complete control over the remote power unit. With a simple flip of the switch the power unit can be activated from the end of the hose. With a low-volt hose you need not return to the valve to activate or shut down your power unit. The tool end of the hose grip has a long wearing metal stub button lock wand built-in which provides a rigid connection for tools and wands along with a variable suction control slider to lessen suction when cleaning delicate surfaces such as drapes.

The wall cuff provides wide dual connection points on the contact ring to provide a high level of reliability and compatibility with nearly all wall-valves on the market. The wall end is fully repairable if needed and provides a positive fit in the valve. The CV1155-LV's hose wall end is a standard 1.5" fitting and fits nearly every valve we have tried it in with the exception of older Kenmore brand wall valves that measure 1.25". Turbo Upgrade Option
Add a Wessel-Werk TK280 Turbine Powered Nozzle to your order using the upgrade options selector at the top of this page and save an additional $10.00* over buying this tool separately. The CV1155-LV Multi-Floor kit can easily be converted to a Turbo kit by just adding the Wessel-Werk TK280-32 turbo nozzle. Turbine powered nozzles greatly increase the cleaning efficiency on carpeted areas with faster removal of surface debris and enhanced performance in embedded dirt removal. Turbine powered tools do not enhance hard surface cleaning, only cleaning of textile floors.

Turbine powered carpet nozzles like the TK280-32 and Turbocat Zoom use the airpower to drive the spinning brush roller that sweeps the carpeting at high RPM's. Turbo nozzles are very effective at removal of surface debris (pet hair, lint) and also aid the removal of embedded dirt (sand, grit). If your home has a higher traffic load with children and pets, adding a turbo brush will increase efficiency and speed when cleaning small areas of carpeting or area/throw rugs. If you need to clean larger areas of carpeting (most homes of 30% or greater of wall-to-wall carpeting) or have a high child/pet load we recommend our more powerful CV2600-LVT Zoom Power Turbo or an electric powered brush is highly recommended. *Save $10.00 by using the upgrade option selector at the top of this webpage. Cleaning Above The Floor & Beyond
While most every CVS attachment kit will include the three basic above the floor attachments: dusting brush, upholstery tool and crevice tool, we have included the best cleaning tools made in the USA by Centec Systems in our custom CV1155-LV attachment kit.

In every cleaning action, it is the tool at the direction of the user that gets the job done. Quality above the floor cleaning tools, just as with the RD294 combo floor tool, not only get the job done faster but get it done better. Here also we had many choices available, and we selected some of the best for inclusion in our custom kit.

If you use your vacuum to clean above the floor or for other utility work, a dusting brush is often the tool you will use. Unfortunately the round dusting brush included with most vacuums has an inconvenient design and may have bristles that are too short or made of material that is inflexible, leaving dust behind on the surface being cleaned.

Centec Systems DB800 brush is unique and addresses many of the problems of regular dusting brushes. With an oblong shape instead of a round one the tool can reach many areas, particularly corners, where round tools can not clean. The flattened head also aids in getting the tool into tight spots where a round brush may just be too big across. The bristle set is the best natural fill that is dense and heavy. Long and flexible enough to provide the proper dusting action the bristles are held into the nozzle body with a shoe that is clamped onto the bristle and formed into the nozzle's shape. The entire bristle set can easily be removed from the nozzle case for cleaning or replacement. The DB800's soft vinyl case will clean furniture without damage and will not leave marks on painted surfaces like plastic tool cases. Inside the dusting brush is a bristle support that prevents the natural fill from folding into the tool, even with the high suction of central cleaning systems.

The deluxe vinyl upholstery tool included in the CV1155-LV is 6" (152mm) wide with a scalloped bottom plate insert and a grooming brush. The shoe design insures continuous air-flow without the need for a suction reducer, eliminating "seal off". The brush strip gently engages upholstery to lift debris and groom surfaces.

The brush also helps to remove hair, pet fur, lint and other clingy soils that suction alone will not remove. The soft outer cover will not mar light colored furniture or scratch soft surfaces and the friction fitting connector will allow use directly at the end of the hose or with any wand extension.

Our unique crevice tool is 13" (330mm) long with flat profile and slots for those "hard-to-reach" corners and crevices where dust and debris can hide. Slots provide additional airflow along the cleaning surface underneath furniture and cabinets. Made of textured ABS plastic the crevice tool is strong enough to take abuse but also just a bit flexible to keep it from breaking.

Most often crevice tools are used for cleaning areas and objects never conceived of by the engineers, and are jammed into, next to, under and between anything and everything. Realizing long ago that crevice tools are used often, and often abused, the crevice tool was redesigned to stand up to rigorous use. The extra length of the crevice nozzle, a full 13 inches, helps you to continue jamming, pushing and prying the crevice tool wherever you need to clean.

Aluminum Telescopic Cleaning Wand
No more Stooping. No more Twisting. No more Hassle. To further complement the lightweight Plastiflex low-volt hose we include a telescopic wand made of aluminum that is less than half the weight of conventional steel wands, only 10 ounces, comparable to plastic with 10 times the strength.

The new telescopic wand has a black finish and adjusts fully from 22.5 inches to 39.5 inches in 1 inch increments. The latching mechanism is a finger operated stepped lock ratchet. This design is easy to use and lock into the desired height allowing the tool to be resized on the fly for the user. The latching system is internally sealed from the dirt control tube for improved air-flow. The tool end of the wand is friction fitting for easy on, easy off performance and the hose end is button lock. Imagine cleaning stairs with a compressed wand that does not require you to hold your arm up to vacuum - less fatigue and much safer.

Cleaning overhead is also easier due to the lower weight of the telescopic aluminum wand and your reach can be extended even farther with the addition of two utility wands. Also included in the CV1155-LV kit and made of lightweight ABS for utility cleaning, each wand is 20" in length and features a standard friction fit to inter-operate with every other attachment in the kit. You can add the two utility wands together with the telescopic aluminum wand and easily clean the crown molding in a room with 12-foot ceilings. The black ABS utility wands can be used in any combination directly on the hose grip to give you just the right reach for cleaning your car, sofa or under the refrigerator with the extra long crevice tool.

Hose & Attachment Storage
To keep your tools in reach while you clean floors, the CV1155-LV includes the wand mount tool caddie to keep your three above the floor tools on hand, ready for use. The wand caddie snaps onto the telescopic aluminum wand and provides three connectors to store the dust brush, crevice tool and upholstery nozzle. If you prefer, the wand caddie can also attach to the ABS utility wand instead. Having your basic 3 in reach at all times can increase efficiency and give you the opportunity to do detail cleaning when needed.

To keep all of your tools neat and tidy storage is provided via a mesh storage bag with carry straps. The perfect place to store all of your tools including above floor nozzles and floor cleaning nozzles. With plenty of room for wands and tools the storage bag keeps everything together when not in use so tools do not become lost or chew toys for the dog. The mesh storage features a strong nylon handle at the top so the bag can hang on a hook in your storage closet, over the included hose hanger or you can hang the loop over a coat hanger and store the tools on a closet rod. The mesh design allows you to see at a glance which tools are stored. Easy to transport, the mesh storage bag is an easy way to move all your tools to the area being cleaned, instead of walking back and forth to your storage closet to retrieve one tool at a time.

A single loop hose hanger provides convenient hose storage. Made of polycarbonate and matched to the CV1155-LV attachment kit, the hose hanger provides plenty of space to keep your hose coiled up off the floor, preventing damage. Easy to mount to any wall with screws or wall anchors, the hose hanger provides plenty of space for the hose, even when wrapped tightly in many shorter loops. Keeping your hose coiled and off the floor will greatly extend its cleaning life and help to keep it flexible for many years. The single loop design also provides a great place to hang your mesh tool bag as well.

Providing for "off the floor" storage the CV1155-LV attachment kit also includes a wall mount wand holder. These unique devices mount directly to the wall with included screws or wall anchors and feature a flexing, pivoting rubber strap. To store the telescopic wand and RD294 Floor Tool, just push the wand into the rubber strap and it locks into place supporting the full weight of wand and nozzle, hanging on the wall and out of the way.
